Did anyone see the partial solar eclipse in England?

Today (Friday 1st August) there was a partial eclipse in England, which was supposed to happen at around 10:15 am. Did anyone see it?

yeah mate i saw it in somerset in england it was remarkably good even though i had to wear 3 pairs of sunglasses at the same time to c it :)

Yes I saw it in Berkshire viewing with my August 1999 eclipse viewer. A small chunk taken out of the north side of the sun.

But it was nothing compared to experiencing a total eclipse of the sun, which I was fortunate enough to experience of the coast of Dorset in 1999 (was cloudy but yet surreal) and Turkey in 2006 - perfect view in the sun. Take a look at my youtube video of the approaching shadow:

I know you asked about England but just want to say that I saw it in N Ireland using the pinhole in cardboard method.
