I have spoken to a few girls that didnt realize they were pregnant and they were smokers, and I was just wondering if anyone else went thru the same thing and how their body reacted to smoking.

i was told by one girl that she got really light headed when she was smoking, and another told me that one morning she started to smoke a cig. and it made her feel like she was going to throw up.

  1. i quit the day i found out,but i cut down alot anyways, never looked back.....

  2. I smoked for about 6 weeks into my first pregnancy before i quit. I had no ill effects from doing it.

  3. I did, and then some. I cut back though. My Dr. suggested I do. I did this with all 3 of my pregnancies and I had 3 big and healthy babies. I never felt ill, or reacted bad to the smoking. I went from a pack and a half a day to 5-7 cigarettes a day. All because the Dr. suggested it. Never go cold turkey, it could cause you to be stressed and that's bad for the baby. That's another thing he told me. So that's another reason I kept it at 5-7. It didn't harm my kids one bit. I guess the Dr. knew what he was talking about.
