  1. I couldn't believe it! Big Brown choked.  I was thinking either Big Brown would win by a land slide or there would be a huge upset.  After they won I thought to myself "dang, if only I would have put $100 dollars on that horse".  Great race.

  2. Yep I did I told everyone here that one would come in

All I got was thumbs down for it

and I also said he was tired NOT LAME

HATE TO TELL YOU ALL I said soo        lolol

  3. No. I thought Da Tara was only in the race to set a fast pace so his stablemate Anak Nakal could overtake Big Brown in the stretch.  I think that might have been his trainers plan, but he looked plenty happy with the results anyway.  His horses finished 1st and 3rd.

  4. This race was ripe for anyone other than Big Brown

to win.  It happens all the time, but many still don't get it.

Favorites win only about 1/3 of the time, but people keep

pounding money on them.  That last big win won't help

them in their current race, and it may actually hurt them.  They've usually used themselves up winning two big races in a row. There is only one direction to go once that has happened, and that is down.  That's what you saw from Big Brown today.

  5. Wish I'd put some money on him.

  6. True the horse was running at 38-1 odds and won.  But you also have to remember that the trainer of this horse is Nick Zito is one of the greatest horse trainers of all time.  His "no-name" horse a couple of years ago beat Smarty Jones to destroy his Tripple Crown chances.  So if anybody can train a horse to upset the Tripple Crown it is Nick Zito.

  7. no, did it?

  8. Yup! My horse was a huge long shot and by alot! :D

  9. Yup, I called it yesterday.

  10. Yes, I had 6 trifectas with Da'Tara on top off Denis. But, like 2002, I didn't have third place finisher! The Preakness undercard (Sir Barton, now the Barbaro Stakes) is a nice place to find a Belmont spoiler. Sarava was my "one to watch for" when I seen him on War Emblem's day and Da'Tara was the same this year.
