After arguing about the ball he then pulled on his t-shirt when the ref walked away haha whats your opinions? I usually like Ferrer but i thought his behaviour was a little discraceful, ok his emotions were running high but to have physical contact with the umpire well.... lol maybe im over-reacting! haha

  1. He should be fined and suspended. However, props for being into his game!

  2. I think players should be allowed a express themselves, vent and let out frustration on the court ... PROVIDING that it is not directed against others who cannot defend themselves, e.g. ballboys and ballgirls and linespersons. I think it's OK for players to argue with the umpire.

I hate the idea of players having to wear a straight jacket. It's like soccer. Players always have to worry that if they breathe too hard, they'll get a yellow or red card. That's stupid. They need a little leeway. It also adds a little color and excitement to the game. Who didn't like when John McEnroe went on one of his fits?

  3. Ferrer should be suspended for touching the referee.  In any other professional sport, he would have at the very least been defaulted or thrown out of the game for touching the ref.
