  1. This is my first and I looking for a good yoga workout video so if you find one let me know!!!!

  2. I used a video called prenatal yoga. It was okay in the pregnancy, but then i got lazy!

  4. Yes I started it in around 14 weeks pregnant and continued most the way through my pregnancy, it really helped with breathing practice, stretching muscles that are so tight with my bulging belly, and making room for baby! Lots of really good stretches to keep my muscles lose. Lots of great poses etc, I was pushed through the whole thing. I used this one

You can usually find it really cheap on ebay, craigslist or amazon, I would search all 3 for the best deal!!!

    Good luck and Congrats!!!

  5. I've tried Erin O'Brien's Prenatal Fitness Fix and that was hard for me!  I'm not really in shape and that video got me winded really fast and had my heart rate above the 140 bpm so I haven't done it since.  She'll do some reps slowly and then you're doing it quickly, which I guess was too much for me.

Crunch Yoga Mama left me feeling relaxed but I personally didn't care for the instructor and her voice (everything is wonderful when I speak in this super caaaaaaaaaaaaalm voice.  Just irritated me), but I'll probably do it again because it made my back feel great. (click on play clip and you'll have a preview of it)

My favorite so far was Buff Moms to be, the early workout.  It had the instructor and 2 other people doing the workout, and they did different things to accommodate each trimester which I think is great.  Also, it left my arms feeling wonderfully sore.

I bought the perfect pregnancy workout but I don't have the guts to try it now that I have it.  I thought Erin O'brien's video would be easy and it wasn't for me, and this video looked a lot harder.

Anyway, you should look on youtube for clips of the videos.  I personally, love going to collagevideo.com (go under specialty workouts) but it doesn't have clips for all the pregnancy videos.  I'll leave some clips for you.  Another tip is to try buying the dvds off of ebay used.  I've bought some for $5 and they're in great condition.  Best of luck and congrats on your baby!

P.S.  The video I have my eyes on next is Denise Austin's fit and firm pregnancy.

  6. I tried FitMama and am so clumsy that I looked like a gangly gorilla trying to Salsa during the salsa/cardio section. Plus the yoga section is too boring (you only do about 4 positions and you repeat them 8 times) and the exercises don't have enough repetition to really strengthen. I just bought the Perfect Pregnancy Workout two weeks ago and now can't use it because of my irritable uterus :(. But it got great reviews and I am hoping to start using it once my ob/gyn gives the all clear. For now I walk. Anytime I am looking for a new exercise video I check out their reviews on Amazon.com to hear other peoples experiences with them. Take care!
