  1. I saw it and it does give alot to think about a role religion has played. The girl who took fasting to the extreme did it to make herself 'pure' in the eyes of god and the other nuns took this to mean that she was a saint and also that jesus or god was trying to show themselves in her. Her friend however thought that something was wrong with her, that she was ill so when the other nuns were going on about her being a saint she didn't believe it as she couldnt see how being a saint would mean to put yourself through so much. When the girl dies, the other girl sees that fasting isnt good and then stuffs her face full of food that they have all given up for lent. The other nuns think this is the devil trying to possess her and so force her to purge everything up....but then the end kinda confused me..i think it was just that the girl had become so traumatised by the events...but i cant be sure

  2. Yes, I watched and found it quite moving.  I do not wish to offend anyone, so all I will say is.............in my opinion, religion has a lot to answer for.

  3. Nope, sorry I'm afraid I can't help.
