Some religious leaders and iman's were saying how muslims shouldn't mix with non-believers, that women shouldn't travel without a chaperon, women shouldn't work with men, women shouldn't use contraception etc. Now I know not all muslims believe this rubbish and this is not aimed at you. However for all the muslims that do believe in these things I have one message for you GO HOME! If you don't wanna mix with us don't come here, if you don't wanna work then stop producing children and expecting the government to take care of them. It makes me really angry that people from a different faith and country come to my country and say these things. This is England we don't live like that! You can't come to this country and tell us how to live. This is a christian country and always will be. Women will work if they want to, drive if they want to, have children when there not married if they want to! I'm not against any race or faith, everyone has a right to believe what they want. If I visited a muslim country I would respect thier way of life, I would cover my body if they wanted me to and follow whatever was the law there. I certanly wouldn't start preaching my beliefs, i would keep them to myself. I don't agree with pushing religions on others. Many muslims tell me that these things are not in the quran and are mis-interpreted. Views from all sides please???

  1. How can I go home when I was born here dahhhhhhhhhhhh like many English/ British people who became Muslim.

    Food for thought!

  2. Yes I watched it and I must admit I found it very disturbing. The government definitely needs to keep a close eye on what is being taught in these mosques.

However, it did show Muslims who were condemning what is being taught in the mosques, and I don't think it was representative of all Muslims at all. I did find it to be a bit biased and focusing too much on the negative points, and it had a lot less of the positive things the mosques may preach.. so in that sense it was very unbalanced reporting.

Anyway, you say this is a Christian country, but Muslims & other non-Christians contribute to the economy just as much as Christians do... so they should have equal rights. What do you think?

  3. If they don't like it here and wanna kill lots of people, then please, they should just evaporate - off the planet I mean.

Muslims have got a bad enough name without these dispatch guys adding to it.

It's a Muslimah's choice whether she wants to do whatever she does. Fact of matter is that Allah (SWT) is the judge.

No, come on, let's be honest here. Are these people named Allah (SWT)? NO, so how dare them judge? The Muslimah's know what's expected of them. If they don't wanna do it, why should it bother them?

  4. oh my god, i saw this! and it was awful!! I cant get over how ignorant these people were being! Like, when the woman was all " YOU  CANT MIX WITH NON MUSLIMS. DO NOT TALK TO THEM." Ermmm, hello? But youre in a predominantl christian country, thats gonna be a bit hard!

Its just so so wrong to force your (wrong) opinions on other people, esp when your basically promoting segregation and hatred!

I also thought that the documentry didnt give a highly accurate picture of the everyday muslims in this country. I mean, the majority of muslims, esp yournger generations dont fall for this bs, they to schools ( where their taught by ppl of all faiths) and have non muslim friends, the watch english telly, listen to the music etc, i think the older generations , like my nan for example, are bit more isolated from the rest of the "mixed" society, but thats rapidly changing these days.

  5. Yes, I did watch it and it made my blood run cold.  That woman was vile and so were some of the men.  I would rather die than submit to Islam.  I cannot agree with your statement that this will always be a Christian country though; you have only to see how many children they are producing compared with us to know that that just doesn't hold water.

  6. I agree with you, Nobody should be force feeding the religion to others, all you should do is advise and Educate someone who is interested in your religion.

Allah is the decider, if you are meant to be a Muslim you will be.

I do not agree with the none working thing, we live in a world where you need money to survive, God loves hard workers and people who live an honest and straight life, raise their children well and look after the home/ family.

The Media will always pin point the bad in everything, you never see a programme outlining the good that Muslims do and the Beauty of Islam. In every walk of life you get good and bad people no matter what religion, colour, creed, FACT.

I think the main reason Muslims choose not to mix with non Muslims as the common ground is lost, culture and Religion will always clash - people live differently, i guess allot of Muslims will avoid mixing with Westerners because they have different views, habits etc...i.e avoiding the risk of temptation as English people like to drink and smoke (not all just giving an example)

Muslims like to learn from each other, a unity and respect for each other. I never have a problem mixing with Non Muslims as i used to be one, i understand from both sides of the argument, at the end of the day it's a clash of culture, views, Religion etc etc.

It's good that you respect other people, i think that allot of people could learn from you, unlike allot of people on here you have tried to understand it from both sides and wish to receive both sides of the argument, that shows maturity and  a higher intelligence than most on here.

  7. these are Wahabi preachers. wahabis are very extreme in their theology to the point that their theology often contradicts the classical Islamic theology.

Wahabism and Wahabis are NOT representatives of Islam and Muslims. you can not generalize all Muslims.

i did watch it and i wondered the same thing. if they hate the west and don't wanna mix with "Kafirs" then what are they doing in western countries? they should stay in Saudi Arabia and stop giving NORMAL Muslims a bad name.

extremism is forbidden in Islam and the Prophet Muhammad  (pbuh) said that we are a moderate people with a moderate religion so do not exceed the limits and be extreme in our religion.

  8. u quoted 'my country'..first of all ur rong there since u have not made o even contributed a litle in MAKING this country!

as for these documentries like many others they r editing to what suits them and as sum1 els has mentioned lookin mainly at EXTREME ppl who are not following islam but tryin to get revenge which is AGAINST ISLAM and not in the QURAAN

also sum1 els metioned ppl like US have made 'ur' economy the only reson u r still here is simply coz ppl frm all over the world live in it and work themselves to the ground!

i think u should research into the diferent sects in islam before labellig all of us as one because we r not all the same jus like u!

n remember you are where you are because of ppl like us!

p.s whoeva said bou the kids... we as muslims are against KILLING ANY LIFE these ppl have big families rather then think ' i made a mistake let me abort it'... its the process of life and beside UR NOT PAYING TO FEED THEM!!!!!!!

PPS... sort out ur so called FACTS before writing against islam next tym!
