I don't live in England so I don't get Sky. But I did see Arsenal's game which is definitely my match of the day. They were fantastic and thats the Arsenal we all love to see(unless you were the one being thrashed)

Yes Everton got beat, yes some of the fans got off before the end, it's happened before and it will no doubt happen again but i would rather still be at Goodison than be anywhere near your vile fans.

no i didn't watch match of the day, it would be too painful to watch my injury ravaged team get beat by a team like Portsmouth who only have James to thank for the three points.

At risk of sounding like 'Mottie' - did you notice WHAM influence in 1st 3 games screened ?

Match 1 - Pompey had 3 ex's - James, Johnson & Defoe.

Of 4 Managers in matches 1 & 3 - 3 of them were ex- Hammers (Redknapp, Curbishley & Ince). Add in all the WHAM players , in winning form @ Upton Park , we can see The Academy continues to flourish - even though I must admit Arsenal looked frighteningly good.

i enjoyed watching everton getting systematically taken apart by portsmouth. and then being booed off by a half empty stadium of super fans! joke team joke supporters!

arsenal is going to storm the premiership this season. we're unstoppable with or without new signings. defoe looks good, hopefully capello will realise he's the obvious choice to partner rooney up front for england.

it's been a great weekend and i can say this even though im a dissapointed everton fan.

for me defoe was the man of the week with van persie, david james and robert green not far behind.

bellamy's goal has to be a contestant for goal of the season and don't even get me started on amir zaki. three goals in three games in his first year in engalnd, that lads gonna be bigger than torres

I thought we (newcastle) were extremely poor but we had played a long mach mid week and had allot of injuries (i mean ameobi upfront,he's terrible)...but to be fair to arsenal they were fantastic and deserved to win....thought bassong did well though when he came on and he looked better than stephen taylor...
