Did you think it was convincing? Do you think it was Jesus' and his family tomb? Did you watch the debate afterwards? What did you think?

  1. I only watch the debate and i think is possible is the tomb of Jesus as all the names are there! Jesus son of Joseph, Mariam , and the Judah son of Jesus , is really strange all these names together, so I keep an open mind, anything is possible! As far as I understand Jeshua was born , lived and was buried as a Jew! I in doubt as to the new testament writtings , because others are being found and are very different , the gospel of Thoas , the gospel of Mary Magdalene and the gospel of Judafh. so Iam thinking maybe the first churh fathers implemented into the new testament what was convenient for the churh, in this  of course ,the catholic churh and its founder Constantine!I truly believe he was a prophet and was in a race to free his land from the Romans! I understand the new testament writtings were written many years afte the death of Jeshua. So in this century is all coming together you agree?

  2. I didnot watch the show.

And so i cann't comment whether it was convincing not.... but i got a question.

Wasnt Christ crucified? What happened to his body? Did they leave it on the cross or get it down?

And i thought they found the body of Mary Magdalene...... somebody here is talking abt "Virgin Mary".

    Am i Lost????

  3. i saw the first 60 min. and recorded the rest. but it was very convincing so far. what are the odds of someone having all those names in the same family. cool stuff baby .. will watch the rest now..............sooner than later..................

  4. the show was a complete waste of time. it wasn't jesus' tomb. any christian should know that Jesus was ressurected and his body went with him. This director guy just want attention and hopefully nonchristians were smart enough not to watch it

  5. saw it before but yes

  6. I watched alot of it. I was tired, so I fell asleep. I am very interested in this topic. From what I seen it seemed really convincing. You bet this could be the find of any century. I believe from what I did see that this is Jesus and his family. Amen

Kotaboo you are an idiot. Have you ever seen anybody's BODY go with them? What a loser.

  7. If is funny the same people that do not even believe Jesus was an actual historical person believe that they found his bones.

  8. No I missed it but had I known I would have.

  9. I believe in Jesus as my Savior and whether he physically ascended into heaven or not, doesn't change or influence my faith in any way. Same with Mary, from a practical standpoint I don't believe she was a "virgin" in the sense we think of it, and as before it makes no difference to me. These were extraordinary figures that influenced our entire world/history, gave us a whole new belief system, and are figures of importance to several religions.

This is an interesting subject though, and for people of very "cut and dry" beliefs, on either end of the spectrum, it will be a very heated debate.

  10. Was interesting but most if it was conjecture and statistical analysis, so hardly the basis of any fact. But never the less, interesting show.

  11. It was interesting but not convincing..

  12. tempest in a teapot.  Geraldo should have hosted it.

  13. it was a good gimmick by the people looking for publicity and money for the bok and movie they will want to make! no! it was not convincing! i am a student of biblical history, and think the accounts that the apostles wrote down were sufficient! if jesus had a family, the nwhy do catholics still worship the virgin mary!

  14. People who claim that the ascension of Christ has no bearing on their Christian faith are morons and obviously have no clue what Christianity is. If there is one CENTRAL point to the new testament, it is the resurrection of Christ. It is pretty much the single most important event of the NT. Without the resurrection, the promise of eternal life in the NT is nullified. I seriously think that all proclaiming Christians should be required to complete a basic course in biblical studies/theology.
