Question:

Did bin Ladin plan 9/11 with the intention of having the USA oust Saddam Hussein for him?

Saddam Hussein was a thorn in the side of Al Quieda. Iraq, an Arab country was one of the only secular states in the region, religion being very strictly controlled by the state, radical Islam was punished by death, and this kept a balance between Shia and s**+'ite Muslims. Now the US has toppled Saddam, the old rivalries have surfaced, and radical Islam has taken a grip on the nation. Al Quieda cells are on the rise, and the ordinary people of Iraq are made to suffer as terrorism has become a daily event.

Was the US government tricked by bin Ladin into an invasion of Iraq? Would we have been better off supporting Saddam's regime and letting him sort out the terrorists in his own way? Were our interrogators in Afghanistan tricked by Al Quieda operatives into believing Iraq had illegal weapons when they didn't? Did the OGA agents just hear what they wanted to and not bother investigating any deeper, where military intelligence would have probed a little bit deeper?

  1. I dont think that Iraq could have been seen by anyone as a place of US intervention prior to 9/11 and in the immediate days afterward. The Taliban was supporting Al-Queda in Afghanistan so that was an obvious answer, but I dont belive Iraq was nessisarily on Bin Laden's agenda. If anything he was hoping to topple the towers to make a point and then have the US invest their time, resources, and man power into battles all over the middle east...Iraq just happened to be the second one of many he is hoping for because with every fight comes more hatred towards the US from the middle east and other powers across the globle

  2. No. Bin Laden did not plan 911. People in US planned 911 with some assistance from foreigners. Cheney is on the list of planners. The others IDK for sure. Look at the PNAC member list to get a few more names.

  3. I think it's highly unlikely bin Laden wanted the US to attack Iraq.  bin Laden is a religious extremist and something of an engineer, not a politician.

I cannot tell you how the failures in intelligence occurred.

But I can say that the people of Iraq suffered daily terror from their government before the invasion; this is why they were so happy to have Saddam removed.  As you may recall, there was an overwhelming voter response to the first election, in spite of continuing threats and violence.

Naturally the removal of the tyrant tended to unleash the forces of anarchy; this is why Colin Powell warned before the invasion, "If you break it, you bought it."  In other words, the US who deposed Saddam had a responsibility to re-stabilize the nation afterward.  This we have been trying to do, but in the beginning not enough troops were sent for this purpose.  Since the new approach under Gen. Patreaus, Iraq is closer to that goal.

Meanwhile back in the cave, bin Laden is plotting the conversion of the world to Islam.  That is his goal.

  4. No, I'm sure Bin Laden just wanted kill some Americans in homeland. He wanted to insult and humiliate most powerful country in the world. Not to trick us somehow. US gov had Iraq on back of its mind for long time. If Bin Laden wanted US to attack Iraq  he could have attacked US embassy in Iraq or other US officials in Iraq instead of attacking the homeland.

  5. No, that would be giving him too much credit. I mean, who would have foreseen that Al Qaeda attacking America would trigger a US attack on one of Al-Qaeda's worst enemies, Saddam? It was as if after Pearl Harbor the USA promptly declared war on Britain as well as Japan. The Japanese certainly never would have expected that, but they sure would have been pleased.

  6. Usama Bin Laden is not wanted for 9/11, FBI says so.

    Wake Up!!

  7. 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq or Saddam. Where have you been?

  8. Why Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia if you want to use this arguement? He hated the Saudis more for exiling him. Bin Laden actually showed that when he had 15 Saudis in his 9/11 aircraft control squad.

  9. The 9/11 attacks were a joint CIA/Mossad false flag operation.

The attacks gave the USA an excuse to invade the Middle East for oil and Israel.

If you believe the official version, then you are not paying attention.

  10. He did this because he is an evil human being who enjoys manipulating others into hurting others. He just wanted to hurt the United States because he doesn't like us.
