Did birth control hurt my baby?

Me and my husband decided that we want to wait a while to have a second child and I'd go on birth control pills. Well 3 days into it I found out I was pregnant already. Even though I'm more then happy I'm scared that the birth control pills harmed the egg or something, maybe even lead to misscarriage. Can birth control pills lead to misscarriages or harm a fetus anyway?

No I was on the pill when I found out I was 8wks pregnant with my now 5 yr old son

I fell pregnant whilst on the pill and again after having the depro provera shot and I had the same concerns. I was assured by my GP as well as OB  that the feotus would be fine and there wouldn't be any side effects.

I'd say talk to a doctor right away. Yes birth control can lead to you having a miscarriage. Birth control can hurt the baby. That's one of the reason's i almost had a heart attack. I was on birth control when i found out that i was pregnant. Sad to say i miscarried that pregnancy. I think you should go and see a doctor as soon as possible. Best of Luck
