  1. yes

  2. ummmm, there were no cavemen. try reading the bible some time

  3. Yes, but instead of crying tears, they cried rivers.

  4. They had tear ducts in their skulls, so probably.

  5. Jim the Fee, here

Your "qualifyer" statement took away the option of crying

tears when physically hurt.  You stayed with "tears of sadness" tears "when upset"

The answer, for me anyway, would be yes.  The "caveman"

you are alluding to would have been the stone age man and woman.  They were moving up on the evolutionary track that would lead to modern man and woman.  They probably had some emotional response to death of one who was "close"

to them and real tears would be one that was being bred into

the line during that long evolutionary span that was later given the name of the stone age.

This is all speculation on the part of any of us who took the

question seriously.  So, I would speculate that "yes,

stone age peoples probably cried real tears in emotional

    setting and happenings"

    Cheers,

    Jim the Fee

  6. Yes if they stepped on a thorn.

  7. Why not? In universal terms they walked Earth two or three seconds ago.

  8. wow smarties u have yes !!!!  duhh

  9. Since neither tears nor the biological apparatus for producing them leave a fossil record, you're guess is as good as anyones.

  10. Yes because they had true genuine sincere feelings.

They had funerals and honor cremations for their loved ones.

  11. Certainly stone age man (who is no different to us physically or intelligence-wise) would have. Whether this is what you means  to be 'cavemen' I'm not sure-only a few lived in caves!

  12. Caves were more expensive. The plebs lived in mudhuts.

  13. First, don't let them make you feel bad about calling them cavemen. You got your message across, they knew what you were talking about. There were a limited amount of caves and people had to live mostly in tents and huts. Even inside caves, they had tents. Second, in the story of Lot in the Bible there is mention of living in a cave. Tears are a means of nonverbal communication which was early communication. So yes, you are understanding correctly.

  14. I dont know ask the guy on the commercial, after all it so easy a cave man can do it.

  15. there were no cavemen!!!
