because I thought christians were supposed to behave like christ and be poor and humble and hang around in bars with prostitutes and drink wine and be a bit risque, you know the kind of thing, vandalising the temple and the money lenders stalls, etc... All I see on R+S smacks of 17th century puritanism.

Do you still even try?

  1. He couldn't even afford Nikes.

  2. NO CHRISTIANS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE POOR B/C IF CHRIST IS A KING AND YOU BELONG TO HIM WHY WOULD YOU BE POOR,ESPECIALLY IF YOUR FATHER IS A KING AND CHRISTIANS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DRINK WINE BECAUSE IN PROVERBS CH21 VERSE 1-5..

  3. Actually, I think he drove a $60,000 Corvette, which he purchased with the donations of $5 each from 12,000 old ladies who gave to his television ministry.

  4. no cars in those days, yes you make a good point of TV preachers, that can not put enough Diamond's on there hands live in mansions drive expensive cars.I guess they think they can create haven on earth for them! But there are tau sends of dedicated christian people, that do so many good things for all humanity. God Bless them, leave the judgement up to God.Christ had nothing to do with that! the cure? how do you make holy water? BURN THE h**l OUT OF IT. ha ha ha

  5. Not unless that donkey he rode in on cost $40,000...I don't know.

  6. Wow.  What Bible did you read recently?  Just because Jesus didn't...umm..drive, doesn't mean it's wrong.  Just like he didn't eat McDonald's........and I'm pretty sure there is nothing wrong with eating a burger and fries.

    Christians are not supposed to NOT have lots of money or things, we are just not supposed to have a love for these things...basically, we shouldn't be obsessed with trying to have a ton of money or material things.

    We are to hang around with everyone, whether or not they are prostitutes or priests, because we are supposed to be sharing how God has changed our lives for the better.

    We are not commanded to drink wine, be risque or vandalise....but something tells me you already know that; you are just trying to start trouble and it doesn't speak well for you.

    I have noticed that the people who are not at peace with what they believe themselves, are the ones who always try and start trouble, or get uncomfortable around Christians or other faiths.  Is there something maybe troubling you and that's why you feel the need to ask such a question?  If you are not troubled in some way, then you would find it easy to shrug off the things you don't agree with and let it go.

    I hope you find what ever it is you are looking for.

  7. There is no sin in asking a stupid question.  Here goes; we all drive different cars and Jesus did not drive one, but neither did the richest people in the world.  They hadnt been invented yet.  But listen to this nimrod.  17th century puritans didnt drive cars.  Now you know.  Glad I could help.

  8. ABSOLUTELY... Do you know what his daddy in Heaven rides?

    Psalm 18:7-10 (NIV) The earth trembled and quaked,

    and the foundations of the mountains shook;

    they trembled because he* (*God) was angry.

    8 Smoke rose from his nostrils;

    consuming fire came from his mouth,

    burning coals blazed out of it.

    9 He* (*God) parted the heavens and came down;

    dark clouds were under his feet.

    10 He* (*God) mounted the CHERUBIM* (*an elite angel) and flew;

    he soared on the wings of the wind.

    Hey… Let’s face it hardly any Heathen God beats the sporty Bible God…!!!

  9. Christ did ride a donkey into Jerusalem.  Does that count?

  10. there are hypocrites in this world. i do know that the humble will inherit the earth and the heavens

  11. Amen...brother

  12. No Christ relied on the transport of the day for the average person of that time, PLC's (personal leather carriers) and the occasional donkey.  I don't know anywhere in the scripture that says it, but I assume Jesus may have ridden a camel and possibly a horse (my opinion)   If Jesus were to appeear now in his first earthly incrnation I assume he would use public transport to get from place to place or possibly YouTube.  But a $40K car I doubt it.  Think about it carpenter equals beat up Ford or Chevy pick up don't it?  Thanks for the question hope this helps.  al 4 now B
