Did dinosaur really existed? and how did they found out the names?

how did they found out all the names of dinosaur? did they just made up themselves? and are those fossils and footprints of dinosaur real? and did they really existed or fake? and how do they know if they really existed or not? how can they find out? and recently i heard they are giving reward for who finds out the evidence of loch ness monster and bigfoot. and some people claims that they saw them and they say they probably could exist. but how come they still couldn't find out? if investigators search everywhere they should've found something by now... how come they are not?

Recently I saw a picture in T.V that scientist says it is the foot print of dinosaur.The foot print was in straight line. When an animal walk with two legs how it can mark the impression in a straight line. Few months back some body claims that they saw some picture in another planet look like human.If they find its movement we can tell otherwise no. In our story our grand mother used to say that an old lady is making some dish in the moon. The picture according to our imagination it may look like some thing.But it is not real.

Yes dinosaurs did exist, as far as the names, I think a bunch of people got drunk and invented them by mistake

The naivety of the questions here never fails to amaze me. Where do you think the names came from? Do you think that when paleontologists dig the bones out of the ground there are little name tags on the dinosaurs? And what more proof do you need that these creatures once existed, than thousands upon thousands of fossilised skeletons?

how old are you ? there are fossils EVERYWHERE in this world! and of course they are real! or do you think that museums all over the world lie you? the names are made up by the form, habitat and many other factors of where they found the fossil.

no one knows if they were real, or what the dinosaurs looked like.  All scientific evidence points towards the fact that they were real.  They are named after the person who found them, or the shape/size/other significant differences/skeletal structures in Latin or Greek, and then "saurus" is added so people know it is a dinosaur.  People know that they are real because tail bones weighing 2000 lbs and longer than your car found in North Dakota can't belong to anything else today.  When an animal dies, the juicy parts are decomposed and given to the soil for nutrients.  The bony parts are covered in dirt, sand or other rock/mineral.  The organic mater in the bone is replaced by calcium or iron or  any other mineral that is surrounding the bone.  Thus turning it to fossil.  Actually fossil is rock.

Yes there really was dinosaurs. They have proof;;fossils. And as far as the names go. Who knows. They probably just made them up based upon their skeletons.
