  1. well hatton WAS like number 8 on the P4P list when they fought,  besides him, diego corrales was undefeated when floyd knocked him out, though i dont know if he was ever on the P4P list......realy, besides ducking cotto and margarito, floyd always has taken on the best competition.  his fights just suck, but without ever having proven himself against cottos, he'll always be doubted......remeber too, he might always come back, he's greedy enough to do it

  2. Can someone tell me what good boxer (and I said boxer not best P4P) had Floyd fight in his career? Not counting Hatton because hes not a Welter, he got beated by Collazo (a no one in this sport) and preferred to vacate the title. Judah isnt in my opinion a top boxer and at that time he had more problems that training, he not take the sport for real. De La Hoya is a beated up old man that has passed his prime a long time ago and dont want to accept it. Gatti... well same story, more sad end, he was knocked out and retire by a nobody called Alfonso Gomez and Cotto knock him out in an televised sparring match.

By the way, in boxing it doesnt matter in what company you are, you dont have to be in the same promotion to be able to fight, so thats just an excuse invented by the blind fans of floyd that dont accept the truth of it. top Rank and Golden Boy Promotion are doing bussiness together as the case of Paquiao for example. Or just imagine u have to change company to company just to be able to fight someone!

  3. Zab Judah

    Diego Corrales

    Jose Louis Castillo

All of those guys at one point or another were on the Top P4P list

  4. Floyd Mayweather has fought the best that were man enough to get in the ring with him.

What is all of this business about him ducking Miguel Cotto and where did it get its life?  BBF is not ducking Cotto, never has.  Boxing fans, do just a little bit of research and see the truth.  PBF has insurmountable issues with that crook named Bob Arum, Cotto's promoter.  That's where the issue is.  PBF refuses to negotiate or have any business dealings with Bob Arum or anybody in his circle.

Now before anyone says that this shouldn't matter, consider the type of things promoters like Bob Arum and Don King have done to so many fighters over the years.  Would you sign a contract with either of those two "businessmen?"  I think not.  Well, unlike Cotto, Tyson, and others, PBF has enough sense, like De La Hoya, to give the financial matters of the sweet science careful consideration.

Piece this: If Cotto really wants to fight PBF, why doesn't he drop his connections with Arum and sign with Golden Boy Productions?  He would jump to the front of the line to get his *** whipped by PBF just a soon as they could make more of a name for him.  Arum certainly isn't doing the job of promoting this skilled fighter and making him known but he sure is waiting on that payday.

If Cotto won't leave Arum or buy out the contract, who's really doing the ducking?  Does he really want the Mayweather fight?  I haven't seen the evidence that he does.  Has anyone witnessed Miguel Cotto screaming for PBF?  Anyone?

    I didn't think so.
