After all that bragging they did, I thought it was so hilarious that the American swimming team beat them in the relay.

"The Americans? We're gonna smash them. That's what we came here for."

The French? We smashed them. That's why we went.

I would have to agree... Just the media saying that the french were talking smack right before hand saying they were going to smash the Americans.. and then the Americans coming from behind and winning it! Amazing!  It was a hella of a good race to watch.. and the look on the french dudes face when he realized they lost was classic.. He shouldnt of talked smack if he couldnt back it up...   Go U.S

dang i wish i coulda seen it live i seen them cheering afterwards but i didnt know france was talkin smack...that just makes it that much sweeter when you win..

YES and thank you for this one.  I was litearlly off my seat chearing as our US team won the race!!  Ibet the french guy feels like what he is, a pompus a$$! !

Yes! I thought the same thing. An exact quote from one of the Frence swimmers before the race against America goes something along the lines of this: "we are going to crush the Americans. that's why we came here" They have such poor attitudes and bad personalities! I'm overjoyed that we won and am almost more happy that we gave the french the karma they deserved. They truly lost without any honor. Viva la America!
