Did gas prices go up faster then they are coming down based on the daily barrel costs?

The highest was 4.31, and now its 4.19 to 4.24, but heard it was 4.11 in other areas of Long Island

In general, for a given change in the price of oil, going either up or down, gas prices will follow suit.  However, you can consider the gas' price movement to occur as follows:

gas prices shoot up like a rocket,

and drift down like a feather.

i saw some that went from 4.25 to 3.69 lately.  so you tell me.

Oh h**l yeah... Prices are down 20 dollars a barrel, basically 17 percent, did prices decline 41 cents? Nope...
