Did gerald armstrong train swordfish the racehorse at middleham in the 1950s?

Just wondering if a william reece worked at gerald armstrongs stable i believed to be in middleham in the 1940s or 1950s, and if there was a horse there called swordfish, and also which trainer if any is currently training at the same yard

Capt. G R Armstrong trained at Thorngill, Middleham, Leyburn, Yorkshire and his telephone number in 1962 was Coverdale 212.  There was no horse running on the flat by the name of Swordfish in either 1948 1953 1960 or 1962.
