did germany compete in the olympics from around 1943-49 and how did they do, and what kind of attitude did they recieve from the world? i hope they were epic faiures if they competed

  1. There were no Olympics between 1939 and 1945. There were, however, games in Berlin in 1936, which were influenced by Nazism and the idea of racial superiority. (But Jesse Owens thankfully dispelled all those ideas.)


  2. No Germany and Japan were not allowed to enter the 1948 Olympics because of their involvment in the war.

  5. I read in a history textbook that Germany held the Olympics and Hitler hid everything that was going on during the Holocaust so no one found out about the Holocaust during the Olympics.  

  6. The jews did great in the gymnastics because they only weighed 2 lbs.
