Did grama get taken for a ride?

my grandmother just bought a new car, and i wanted to know if she got a good deal? she traded in her 1999 dodge caravan (with 165,000 miles on it) and got $1500 for it. she bought a 2008 hundai accura and paid $11,??? for it, I'm not sure of the exact figure. she said it was 14 something and after the trade in she haggled it down to the 11 something. paid the whole thing off in cash.

so i want to know WAS THIS A GOOD DEAL, OR DID GRAMA GET TAKEN FOR A RIDE?

Did she buy a Hyundai or a Honda? The trade in value of a 9 year old Caravan with that many miles is pretty low so it sounds like she did OK.

Odds are the Hyundai will be a disappointment. Maybe she will get lucky and drive it 165,000 miles with no problem.

The price seems ok.
