Let me explain, i was on the M6 and wanted the M42(s) to get on the M40 for London. But as i came around the bend it said the sliproad south was closed, which means it is to late to stay on the M6 to the next exit which is 3 miles down the road. So you follow the diversion for 8 miles and 15 mins, which brings you back to the same junction which was only 3 miles away. Are they taking the p**s.

  1. YES

  2. Probably just the government getting more taxes from fuel duty!!

  3. yup morons i tell ya

  4. You're quite right. Tipping M42 traffic off at J4 down the A38 rather than at up the A38 at J5 would have made more sense but then so would have swinging round the roundabout at J5 and joining the M42 on the M6 Northbound . Still miles but a darned site quicker than muddling through Bromsgrove.

  5. The easy answer is yes.Hope it helps.

  6. very likely, been on enough motorways with no instructions and ended up driving miles around to get back to where we started, oh and the arguments in the car with the other half, as if it was my fault....
