  1. There will always be a difference of opinion, I say no, others will say yes.

  2. Humans and apes share common ancestors... or so it is theorized. Evolution is still just a theory. Its a theory I believe to be true, but beliefs are not facts. Good science develops theories that are equally right as they are wrong.

So, your question is more complicated than it first appears.

Do I believe humans and apes share a genetic lineage? Yes.

Do humans and apes actually share a genetic lineage? Maybe.

  3. Just you.

  4. who knows, its a theory that makes the most sense its not 100% but i doubt we will ever know the origin of man

  5. NO. NO. NO.  God, this questions gets asked a lot.

You may have noticed that apes are still around doing their thing and have no signs of turning into people. No, we developed seperately but with common, ape-like ancestors. (We share a common ancestor with all life forms if you go back far enough, actually.) At some point, millions of years ago, we evolved down different paths to where we are now. However, chimps and humans have almost identical genetic material (98%). Amazing what a difference 2% can make, eh?
