Did i do something that is not recommended?

my snapple bottle did not have the protective plastic wrap on the cap. however, when i opened it, i carefully listened for the "pop". and it definitely made the classic pop noise.

i shall drink my tea now. do you think i will get destroyed? or will i be safe?

You definitely did something that was not recommended, but the "pop" is a bit reassuring.  You do know, don't you, that Osama Bin Laden's family owns Snapple?  Are you sure it was the "classic pop", or was it a more, subdued, gentle pop?  Keep us posted on your state of safety and/or destruction, you cute little furry thing.
