See, i am in dance, and i have been doing it for 10 years so far, and been to the same studio all my life, but this time i am going to a diff one, cause i am annoyed with my team always talking and getting nothing done. And i also feel that i should be on a more advance team, i i am on a team with people that has been only doing it for 5 or less years, i am more advanced then everyone else, and i am bored at every practice cause its very boring, cause its easy for me, this is the most advanced team at my studio. I mean i still want to do solo with my studio but not team, is it wrong for me to go to a place where they have dancers my level. I have been working really hard, and i feel like i deserve this, my studio understands, but not my friends in dance, they are getting mad at me, Is it wrong for me to move, or am i doing the right thing???

  1. You're doing the right thing, because you're doing the best for you!  Don't let people persuade your life.  You want to better your dance skills so you need to set your bar higher, and by going to the other dance team you'll be doing that.  The studio respects your decision because they understand that you need to better yourself and up the ante.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

  2. You are doing the right thing you should not let people hold u back no matter what cause you will regret it i promise.

And remember true friends will let you go cause they want the best for you

  3. u should switch. ull never get any better if u stay in a level thats easy for u. u should take a class thats challenging in a different studio. that way u grow as a dancer and polish ur skills.

  4. it may be ok now to go, and move forward, although it may also be timing, if you are still finishing old course, maybe complete, then go to next level when done, there may be other dynamics, like where you are with studio now, and where you're going, and when you do go, keep in touch with present dancers, they may want assistance in the future as well, and ask yourself why you've not moved forward already, and use that to help you decide, so have heart ♡,  keep the spirit ☺, dance your dance away ♫, and let you slippers guide you,

  5. no its ok to go to a new studio that will challenge you more...and if your team is slacking then join a new crew that is serious ...but i dont like the fact that you say your better then everyone else...cuz all in all with that kind of ego or whatever you want to call it, the problem might not lye on your team...but on you with the attitude...but i have no idea.... if i was you i would diversify and dance at other places as well
