Did i do the wrong thing beating up a guy?

ok so im in 5th grade and im 10 years old =]. I was at kickboxing class and i was wearing a sports bra. Then some 12 year old came up to me and said i looked hot. i flirted back. I was also wearing VERY short shorts. Then i noticed that he wasnt staring at my eyes, he was staring at my belly! Then im like what are you staring at (in a nice way). then he is like "ur s**y belly". Thats when i got a little uncomfurtable. Next week instead of coming to kickboxing in a sports bra, i came is a 3/4 top. Then i saw him again. And im girl who hugs =] so i gave him a hug. But when he hugged me he tried to pull my shirt off! he raised the top all the way up, luckily i was wearing a sports bra under! i kicked him in the stomach, then uppercutted him 6 times in the stomach. He was on the floor in serious pain and i just walked away.... was i right to do that?

There is an old adage, only cowards fight heroes negoiate.

You should have reported his actions to an adult in the area.

Hugging is a nice feature, but knowing that someone is acting a little strange, it would be better to avoid that person.

Trained fighters are usually conselled about fighting outside of the ring.  Also, your flirting with him was an act of encouragement, so you have some responsibility in creating this situation.

Please don't engage in this activity.  Be a sport.

Yeah, you were right but i dunno if the six punches might have been a "tad" bit excessive but you shouldn't feel bad cuz he should have never done that in the first place, and now....he'll never do it again lol

You definitely had the right.  What he did was ILLEGAL.  You had every right to do that.  You should of done more.

no. he deserved it. that is what i would do. i think the punching was voilent. i would have slapped him and kicked him in hte b@lls(im 13) but u did great.! just don't hug him anymore.

What that guy did was near to a sexual assault. You did the completely right thing. That guy must be quite stupid to do that to a kickboxer. Usually i am against violence outside a ring but this was just a reaction to a physical wrong he was doing to you.  Maybe he learned from this.
