  1. You're underweight. You really should get more protein. Make sure you get some at every meal. I also think you'd benefit from eating more fruits and vegetables. Try to have your variety throughout the day. For example, have a small salad with lunch. Have some sliced banana over your waffles... stuff like that.

  2. I am a vegetarian also, and I think you need more protein in your diet.Try tahini, peanut butter, beans, and tofu. Also , drink some soy milk every day or have it with kashi cereal. You need more energy foods!

  3. you need more calories, more protein and  try to do more exercise

  4. It's an "all right" amount but you really need to eat more. Maybe add some fruit with your waffles. Then have another snack between breakfast and lunch. Your lunch is good but you should add some veggies with it. The other snack is good and you dinner is pretty good to but you could eat just a bit more! Good luck with your vegetarianism!

  5. The only thing I can say is you are not getting enough fruits and vegetables.  You also didn't have enough protein and you should have eaten more at dinner...

So I guess my answer is no.  If I were you I would have added more fruit with breakfast...and a cup of soy milk.

You should have had something with more protein for dinner.

  6. This is not the right section for this question.  Ask in Diet and Fitness.

By the way, fish IS meat and vegetarians do not eat fish.  I also wanted to add that you are barely getting enough calories.

  7. Yes, you eat very healthy actually, and it is a good amount

Hummus is really nutritious, and it has a ton of protein.

    Keep up with whole grains.

Try getting more veggies into your snacking though, like celery and carrots.

  8. You're eating healthy foods, buy maybe try to eat more.

Adding soymilk, veggieburgers, beans and tofu will boost your protein intake and broaden the range of nutrients you're getting. Why not try a high protein lunch, such as scrambled tofu?

You're already eating blueberries and apples which is great. Fruit is good but remember vegetables though. You can get more vegetables into your diet by making a delicious veg stir fry.

Aim for about 30 minutes exercise each day. :)

  9. Vegetarians need to eat a large gross amount of food than omnivores because the caloric density is simply lower in vegetable foods than in animal foods. So you are eating on the light side. Your weight suggests that, too; you need maybe 10 lb more on your frame.

And you are kinda low on protein.

Whether it's "organic" or not makes no difference except to your pocketbook.

  10. Of course, that's a normal amount. And it really dosen't matter how big the amount is if it is organic. I eat nothing but organic foods and I eat all the time but very slim.

  11. I hope you don't eat like that everyday because that didn't sound like a well balanced meal.Snack was good but you main meals seem lacking in "oomph". Again, maybe you eat a lot more during the week but what you wrote seems inadequate to me.

You also seem to be about 7lbs underweight.
