Question:

Did i eat healthy today on my diet?

breakfast- 3/4 cup oatmeal with a little skim milk and grapes

lunch- 2 english muffins, one with penut butter, one with jelly and some cantaloupe green tea

snack- non fat yogurt

then i biked for 30 min.

dinner- tuna salad, with half a can of tuna, topped with tomato, a little cheese and no fat dressing then a cup of soup that is low sodium

please answer how many calories you think it was!

  1. that was great! you still get enough fats in a day, which most people dont do and think its bad when really its what you need to stay healthy. you got a good varity on your food groups. i would say you got around 1,600 to 1,800 calories. AWESOME!


  2. Based on what I know that is between a 500-1000 calorie day. And that's healthy food!

  3. It depends on how big the servings are. Your English muffins at lunch could have been larger or small. The yogurt snack could have been 4 ounces or 8.

    I suggest you go to calorieking and figure it out for yourself, which can work for any day, not just today! :)

    Also keep in mind that too few calories is bad for your metabolism. See my second source for more info.
