Did i make my pandoras battery right?

i followed a guide to making a pandoras battery with a custom firmware, i turn on the screen and it goes completley black but when i switch batteries it is normal. my psp is 4.01 m33-2 cfw does the battery only work for non cfw? cuz i just want to test it out see if it works.

With JUST the battery, the PSP should flash a 'blue' screen (Blue back-light) for about half a second.

If you don't have sharp enough eyes, you should make a MMS using this guide:

The first few minutes will cover on how to make the Battery. If you lifted the ICo4 peg that is needed, it should be right. Even if it sparked like mine, it means you cannot charge it.
