Did i overdose?

Question

On sunday night i took 20 tablets.

8 ibruprofen and 12 paracetimol.

the next day i threw up a lot..is this normal??i know i took tablets but..i didnt think it was enough to make me throw up.

i was trying to kill myself but realisd a lot of things that night. so didnt.

someone tell me if this is normal?

You didn't die because it wasn't your time. You realized things because you were supposed to learn from this experience, and you did learn. You did overdose but you lived like you were suppose to. Now take your experience and live your life better than you would have otherwise. What have we learned from life when things were easy? Life is hard so that we can learn and become better from it. Trying to kill yourself is not normal. It's not healthy either. Honestly I'm glad you threw up because that means your body was fighting your decision. I hope you understand that taking pills like that can do irriversable damage to organs for example your liver kidneys, your heart, and brain. You then have to live with extreme health problems if you survive! The long term conscuences are not worth the short term satisfaction.

That being said the next time you contemplate a suicide I want you to think about the people that you will leave behind. You might think they won't miss you but you would be wrong. Then I want you to think about the cost of funeral services. Do you have insurance? You are probably to young and most of them do not cover suicide. 7000 to 14000 is a large burden to put on your family. There is nothing in this world worth putting your fanily thru that pain. It may be bad today but tomorrow is a new day and you make the decision to start over fresh the moment you get out of bed. I hope I could help you Good luck

maybe it was just your body having a bad reaction or rejecting the meds, if you overdosed I think you'd be dead.

It's difficult to overdose on ibuprofen, and -- assuming that you took 500 mg paracetamol pills -- 6000 mg of paracetamol is dangerous for your liver but not fatal.

And no, this is not normal. Get some therapy.

Yes, that was an OD; please get a blood test to make sure you haven't damaged yourself

I don't know much about overdosing that would probably be borderline dangerous that many pills. But killing yourself is not the answer to anything you need to seek professional help and if you cant afford it email me and I will talk to you.

no you need to see a doctor immediately! please do that, instead of harming yourself everytime you're depressed....it might seem normal to you now but wait until you grow older, your gonna regret everything you did...

Yes You Overdosed. Your Liver could be damaged as well as other internal organs. You need to see a doctor. Have blood tests ect. You also need to discuss therapy & treatment for depression.

Get help before you get your hands on the c**p that will kill you if that's what you are set out to do. Think of your family and the loved ones you leave behind....Don't be so Selfish - because that's what suicide is. An act of selfishness...
