Did it bother you that the Audience at the RNC was constantly yelling "USA"?

As though it implied "Vote for John McCain the only patriotic Candidate"

Or "if you love America, vote Republican"

I love America too... and I happen to not agree with McCain...

  1. So true, I agree. If they REALLY loved the USA, then they should vote Obama!

  2. I watched it on CNN and the crowd was yelling USA, USA at a couple of protesters that were causing a commotion! That's why McCain said to ignore the static or whatever.

  3. Oh, I thought they were yelling 'KKK'. Jokes.

  4. What was going on that usually doesn't get seen on camera, is protestors usually break rank.  The crowds then start chanting party chants or USA to try to drown out the protests while they are being hauled away by security.  From time to time you will see party volunteers run in with favorable signs to get the cameras off the protest.

If you watch Governor Palin's speech yesterday, a group known as "Code Pink" started yelling protests.  While being dragged off, you could see someone carrying a McCain/Palin sign come running from off camera in front of the protestor being escorted out to block the cameras view.

Today there were many many protests going on interrupting McCain's speech.

I do not agree with McCain at all and less with Palin.  But my favorite protestor was not the loud ones, but the silent Iraq Vet just quietly holding a sign against McCain.  Power of free speech all around.  Let the candidate speak and let your view be seen too.  Very powerful.

  5. yeah a little bit haha

  6. If you love America why are you bothered by chanting USA?

Disagree with McCain all you like.

  7. A bit, but what was worse was the booing when anything was said about the other party.  Booing is distracting and probably shouldn't be done when you are supporting someone.

  8. I heard that at the DNC after it was over the trash cans were filled with those flags they were told to wave for the Savior

  9. They were saying USA?  I thought they were saying 4 more years.

  10. I found it very annoying and I think McCain did, too. I'm voting McCain.

  11. Actually they are all pretty old and needed to remind themselves of where they were.

Last night they thought they were at a Hockey Mom Award Dinner.
