  1. Since this relates to PETA and CNN I give it the credibility factor of 2 on a scale of 10.

And why isn't PETA going after Johns Hopkins or Stanford med school where pigs feet are routinely used to teach students how to suture wounds?  Oh, that's right.  Because it wouldn't make as much of a media splash.

Let's just hope they all had some good kahlua pig when the exercise was over.

  2. It upset me, but it didn't surprise me.  That is what I have come to expect from the gov't.  You really can't trust them.

  3. Now PETA is recruiting the peacenics.

  4. Wasn't it Gandhi who said something along the lines of you can tell the greatness of a nation by how they treat their animals?

  5. Ugh, go to youtube and search for 'Meet Your Meat'

if that won't turn someone into a vegetarian i don't know what would?

    ):

  6. Everything I have learned about how animals are treated around the world has greatly upset me and I have to try not to think about it all.  I have known animals were used by the military for years and I did not get that info from PETA (that's to the ones who are bashing this because PETA is involved).

  7. Yes, it is pretty upsetting.  Not just to me but also the animals and the soldiers who have to maim them.

I read a similar article recently about how the military is going to start using pigs for shooting practice.  It said that this was so that they could better understand how to treat humans, but I don't see how that can be from a cruel exercise like that.  This traumatizes the soldiers who have to shoot the pigs as well.  PETA was actually tipped off by a soldier who was disgusted by the practice.

Perhaps they should shoot and test on Republicans!
