Did jacques cousteau change the world???

please tell me if he did becouse im doing a project about people who changed the world and i ant to know if Jacques Cousteau changed the world.... if he's a bad example please give me others other than....

He invented the presurized regulator.  Ever seen old scuba moives and they had the floating tubes on each side? Cousteau invented the single mouthpiece regulator that replaced that.

jacques is my hero!!! he ivented the aqua lung AKA the scuba tank

he is responsible for all underwater discoveries

with out the scuba tank we wouldnt have been able to ive like we can now.

i am a diver my self im 13 and lovveee it.

In some aspects he did...he created the aqua lung....the first underwater breathing aparatus..which eventually evolved into oxygen tanks and other scuba gear but he's responsible for the fundamentals of underwater breathing as well as many other marine discoveries.

Yes.  Besides being a great environmentalist he invented SCUBA gear.  Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.  This gear has been modified to SCBA and is used by firefighters and miners.  It has saved countless lives and opened up the undersea world for us to explore and learn from.   Do a google search or a wikipedia for more complete information.
