Did jesus cry in anger against Jerusalem when he Rebuked the city for killing the prophets?

  1. He wept in sorrow for the coming judgment of Jerusalem. God had come in flesh. Yet they failed to recognize him.

    Mat 23:37  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

    Mat 23:38  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.


  2. I think he was weeping in sorrow because he knew the coming tribulations for the Jewish people. God loves the Jews, no matter how rebellious they have been or might be.
