    You can look at it from two perspectives, Religious and Scientific.

    Religious:  Animals were created before man. The Bible says God created Earth in seven days, but one day could have been the equivalent of 10,000 years since time does not matter for God.

    Scientific:  People came around AFTER dinosaurs.

    But how do we know? We weren't there.
