The way I see it we chose obama in-spite of his short resume because we see something special in him. He got the votes of over 18 million people. Sarah Palin on the other hand was chose by one man and if mccain is elected president, because of his age, there is a very high possibility Palin will have to take over.

  1. I think so. Palin screwed John... And as bad as it is for the republicans chances John enjoyed it

  2. Yes, conservative men think women are idiots and should be kept barefoot and pregnant thus the whole anti choice/anti birth control.  In fact, there are some conservative groups whose sole purpose is to repeal women's right to vote.  Do you think they are going to vote for a ex beauty queen with little experience?  I find it highly unlikely when McCain is so old and so frail and pasty looking..

  3. no but he didnt help himself thats the problem

  4. You and yours may have chosen Obama, but this ol boy didn't.  Palin as it turns out has more 'executive' experience as a State Govenor than Obama and Biden combined.

  5. It just confirmed that Obama will be our next president.

  6. yep, he's crazy

  7. yes up and around the corner.

  8. yes! he is sooo desperate.

  9. yup yup

  10. Because of Mccain's age? Ronald Reagan was 73 when he went into office and he served 8 years and did this country well.

  11. Your exactly correct !! And when you think of the facts that To begin with McCain is more of the same of the Bush administration,,and if she had to assume the presidency,, America would have a president with LESS experience than ALL the candidates Republican and Democrat who ran for the presidency..If it is considered ill chosen for Obama to be president,, what is the logic for Palin to even be CONSIDERED qualified ??? What am I missing,, or should I say,,what was McCain thinking about ??   L    H

  12. No, he just screwed Barack 'ol boy.  CHECK MATE.

  13. thankfully mccain picked the one person who CANT help him win

  14. For the person who brought up Reagan: He had alzheimers through half his last term.

  15. Obama and Biden are the only good choices to run America. Im an american who grew up in New Zealand and recentley moved back here and having observed america from the outside looking in, its time for change! Regardless of who McCain chooce as his VP, if they are elected, its going to be another 4 years of exactly what Bush has been doing. I can tell you now, If Obama doesnt win, Im moving back to New Zealand.

  16. Nah ... because Hillary got the votes of the other 18 million moderate Dems only to see our ticket become a liberal/liberal ticket and our candidate, Hillary Clinton, totally snubbed.

Obama screwed himself by not choosing either Hillary or another moderate for VP.

This moderate Hillary supporter likes the McCain/Palin ticket much better than the Obama/Biden ticket.. and I suspect many other Hillary supporters will see it that way also.

Time to send Obama back to the senate in November ....

  17. yup

  18. yes

  19. it really could go either way.your right, its entirely possible she could become president. its cute for a movie script, but not real life.

  20. no ! but I'm wondering if he'd like to s***w her !

  21. yeaaaa hes always s******g himself

  22. Yes, picking a woman locked in my vote for BOB BARR. This lib rino will just keep stabbing us in the backs. He is so politically correct, an if he isn't he flip flops and blows in the wind.

  23. Over the next few weeks, as people seek out more information, Palin's weaknesses as a candidate will be exposed. The luster has already begun to dull a bit even as information such as her position on Iraq is revealed. A Time magazine interview from two weeks ago showed that Palin had really given no thought whatsoever to the conduct of the Iraq War. Two weeks ago! The audio from the interview is entirely painful and illustrates that she is completely in over her head on this.

  24. Personally I am very excited about his pick......I like her values and morals which was a real concern of Christians when it came to McCain, now they are more assured about having a conservative that lines up with their values. She has tied the Democrats hands on a lot of issues. How can the Democrats complain about her "lack" of experience when she has MORE experiences and accomplishments than Obama who IS the "Head" man for the Democrats not the VP. She has held an executive position and Obama or Biden neither have. How can they challenge her position on abortion when she can come right back and ask them do you not believe my 4 month old Downs Syndrom son had the right to live?? I am sooo excited and I cant wait for the VP debate in Oct. Now that will be VERY interesting.

  25. no.

his VP is better than obama

  26. No I thought it was a very cleaver move. Now all the former clinton supporters will turn to McCain more now that he has got a woman vp and obama has got no woman apart from his wife in his campaign.

If you think about it that's what he was doing.

  27. How is that s******g himself?

She is more qualified than Obama, and comes from a solid conversative base.

And she is hott!! A little later I may s***w myself thinking of her
