  1. Venezuela has a heavy crude type of oil, that only a certain amount of refineries in the world can process. Most of them are in the US, and there are a couple in Japan.

    It would only make sense after they are processed, that Venezuela gets their own transported back for usage in their own country, whether it's via ship or ground transportation.

    CITGO gas stations in the US, are actually owned by Venezuela (PDVSA). And actually, right now, Venezuela isn't our number one friend right now, b/c he is anti-US, and friends with Cuba, Iran, and other anti-US friends. So before you fill up at a CITGO, realize u are supporting someone that hates you.


  2. No need to, However during the national stoppage in 2002-3 Mexico might have sold tankers of gasoline to curtail  the demand, when low production due to the strike.

  3. That wouldn't make any sense, Venezuela has their own petroleum reserves...
