No way, just take a look at some videos on youtube.  Shows that his skin got lighter.  I mean, why would he do that otherwise?  I'm glad I don't have vitiligo; I can only imagine what Michael had to go through once he found out he had this terrible disease.

There is so much ignorance on this site it's unbelievable.  The kind of bleaching that would be required for someone to change his like Michael Jacksons' would be impossible.  He would have cancer or very serious skin problems by now.  No amount of money could possibly make it any differently unless there is some product on the market that we are not aware of or some mad scientist that has discovered something he has not shared with the rest of the world.

The most biological, scientific and logical explanation for Michael's skin condition would have to be that he had a skin disease known as Vetiligo.  Come on people, wake up and research the truth and not use the inane and inept understandings from peoples lack of reading, research and understanding.

I hope America has not been so dummied down that we don't even think any more.  That's sadder than Michaels skin issue.

The ignorance here is almost funny. It's not as simple as you think. If a black man used bleaching cream to lighten his skin to the extent that people believe Michael Jackson did, he wouldn't be white, or red, or brown. He would be grey. If he ever stopped using the cream, his color would come back. Michael Jackson did not try to become white, nor was he ashamed of being black. He was actually diagnosed with discoid Lupus and with Vitiligo in 1986 after a biopsy on his scalp. Vitiligo is a skin condition that destroys the pigment producing cells that give us our color. Michael started to use make up to cover the splotches until 1990 when his doctor prescribed him with bleaching cream (containing 4% Hydroquinone- couldn't be used to turn a black man, white) to help even out the skin tone. All this bleaching cream did, was simply fade the remaining pigment. He was still using make-up to cover blotches.

Michael J was a black man and like all top entertainers he had a sub or double. One did have cosmetic surgery and a whitened face and the other wore a mask to appear almost the same. The hair on fire incident when filming the cola commercial affected the appearance of more than one person! One man was from malaysia and appeared in some videos and I think he performed well under those hats. Old videos of Michael as a boy performer and for albums like Thriller show how he used to look and now he has departed from us all but is still present in a hall of fame.

Heck yeah, he did. It happened very rapidly from what I've seen...it should have taken years to develop all the way, but Michael was instantly white. He didn't want to be black anymore, but the African American culture still praises him as being part of their culture. Yes, he was a great entertainer, and yes, he had a great voice, but he chose not to be an African American. They should have disowned him.
