Did my hair color(s) come from one parent most likely or both of them?

I'm adopted and I was wondering that if my dad had dark dark brown hair and my mom has blonde hair would I have a mixture. I'm just wondering because I have a mix of hair colors. Most of my hair is light brown and then I have some dark brown hair all over the place and white blonde hair on the corners of my hairline. Is this like parent stuff?

your hair color is your phenotype..

and the genes you got from your parents(both of your parents) are your genotypes..

haircolor is one of the more confusing things to determine though..

everybodys hair has more than one color in it..

but your parents both contributed in the color of your hair.
