I have shown pigs for 4 years and nothing like this has ever happened. I have a blue butt gilt that is about 144lbs. Tonight i went to let her out of her stall and she would not get up so i started to hit her on the side of her face which usually makes her get up and she was unresponsive. Her breathing was really slow and this went on for about 5 min. I splashed water on her face a couple of times and then she finally came to. Also last night we had a tropical storm come through and she got spooked from the rain and wind and her leg got caught in the fence so she is in pain due to her leg could this have something to do with it? Thank you

  1. Maybe it was traumatized. It should be alright, but look into it further if this keeps happening.

  2. I bet she's a tad overtired ans yes, probably dehydrated and in pain. Give a little time to rest in betwen shows, and make sure she gets a lot of water! :)

  3. It's baaaaaaaaaaaaaacon!
