Question:

Did not McCain suffer and bleed for his country?

Obama suffered and bled when he pricked his finger writing his books and sitting on committees with a domestic terrorist.

Guess who I would rather be president.

The average liberal mantra--"If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, it must be a chicken."

  1. My grandfather also fought for his country. However, I don't think he should be president.

Yes, McCain was brave and heroic during the war but this is no reason why he should be president! However, the republicans seem to be desperate for votes and thus have repeated to laud his courage during Vietnam...

    Come on, talk about issues!

Have you actually read Obama's book? It's pretty wonderful. I would rather have a president that can write eloquently, about his history and beliefs, than a president that can shoot a gun.

  2. While he has been running for president all his political life, he has voted "present".  That's hard work, man!

  3. You're d*** right he sure did!! and he is gonna be the next president.  I also believe that Palin is a great VP choice.  It's beyond me why anyone is voting for Obama.  He has no record or anything of significance that can be researched.  He is full of sh**.  He can speak that's the only thing going for him.  The Obama supporters are striving for political correctness.  They don't even know what this nitwit has in mind when he says he is gonna "change the country.  Believe me, I have asked this question on Y/A several times, and I have never received an answer.  It's obvious they do not know.  They are just voting for him because it is the "thing" to do or perhaps George Clooney  told them to vote for Obama...I mean he would know,,,,.....

No, being in the military doesn't make you qualified to run the country...but it should be a prerequisite.  What it does say for McCain is that he is 100% American, and I'm not sure that Obama is...I'm thinking he is maybe 10% American.  Face it! Obama has no experience and is NOT qualified to run this country.  He has done nothing of significance.  He can't even be bothered to vote in the Senate.  What a goofball!

  4. Look I am only a few years younger than McCain and live in Arizona. I am tired of the McCain POW story being repeated over and over again.

It gets pretty thin and tiring after 20 in Arizona. As for the domestic terrorist that was also 40 years ago  And there are many people who were either radical or went through very terrible things during that period.

McCain is now 72 years old and he has changed completely from the person who ran just 8 years ago except for his temper.  Whatever he was then he is already confusing things and making judgments that are bizarre now.  That should concern everyone who is not in Disneyland mode.

  5. Being a war hero like John McCain is a hugh benefit in politics and unfortunately for Obama, he is not a war hero.  Of course the Democrats have to find a way to overcome that but they also have to be careful.

  6. Did you run out of your pills?

  7. My buddy suffered and bled for his country. Does that make him equally qualified as McCain? BTW, he's a Democrat.

Try making an honest argument because if the tables were reversed you wouldn't be saying this.

  8. Sure he did.

But don't ask me to suffer through 4 more years of fake bravado and failed policies.

  9. you're incredibly stupid. have no idea what this has to do with leading a country.

  10. Yeah

And your point is what? There's more decorated vets out there that aren't running for president. That doesn't mean a thing

  11. Hey...every person in this country has bled for the U.S.    Your opinion shows your level of intelligence

  12. I'm a veteran. My father was a veteran. In fact the men in my family have carried a rifle or sailed a ship for this country since before it was a country. I have served with some of the dumbest, orneriest, lying, cheatin, no good b******s of all time. During Vietnam judges were diverting felons into the military all over the place. So, while I volunteered to serve my country and respect that decision, that doesn't automatically make everyone who does worthy of hero worship.

McCain suffered for his country, but that can't be the answer to every question about his fitness to be president. He's still trying to win Vietnam. He's just not rational in his world view and picking a beauty queen with a resume that's thin and half of that is made up and lies...

I supported McCain in 2000. If Rove's a******s had gone around spreading the rumor my wife is a drunk like they did to McCain, I'd have walked onto the convention stage and knocked cocaine cowboy Georgie on his ***. Instead tonight during his 24 minute speech McCain will take his lips from around Bush's love gun for the first time in four years. Anyone that wants the White House bad enough to kiss that frat boy's behind isn't my idea of a leader, whatever he may have been in Vietnam or even ten years ago.
