Did our government ever think Gitmo would become a 'school' to train Taliban and Al Quaeda leaders?

  1. Wow-what a rude answer you got!  No, of course our government never thought of that, but they should have.  We known that in our prison system for years.  I represent a Detention Center and we know to separate gang members, so why would we group terrorists together?  Any group of people who share a common goal or bond also feed off each other's energy in a sense.  There has never been a prison built that could stop communication between prisoners.  Groups of like minded people make each other stronger, whether it's terrorists or a neighborhood association.  That why groups exist.  There is no excuse for our government not to have known that.  Just look at anthropological studies.


  2. Another example of not thinking outside the box, not getting second opinions/ideas, and not having a long term strategy. One look at the US prision system would have been a decent example of what could and likely would happen.

  3. You should probably go to your psychiatrist and tell him you anti psychotic meds aren't working any more, or maybe just loosen your tin hat.
