  1. If they did, it can’t be proven. The only thing that is preserved in the archaeological record is stone and bone, depending on how far back you are talking about. It’s possible to see that they used fire in one place due to carbon deposits, like for warmth, but if they were using it to scare animals into traps, there is no evidence. Any kind of wooden trap would have long perished, as would anything made of animal hides. Different species of humans had different tool kits for hunting though, for example, Neanderthals used a Mousterian tool kits that included hand axes, spear points, and flint knapping tools. We can speculate as to whether or not they used traps, but unless someone builds a time machine, it’s only speculation.

  2. Fire was used as a tool to herd animals where we wanted them to go.

Humans went round in big groups with fire scaring and steering whole herds of wooly mammoths over cliffs (lol)

  3. not sure on any of the specific tools but they did use them thats what gave them the avantage on stronger and quicker animals

  4. Stones and clubs.

  5. camouflage over big holes.

  6. Archaeological evidence suggests frequent use of stampeding animals off of cliffs.  There is also some evidence for deadfall traps, pit traps, and leading a charging animal into an ambush.

Basket traps for fish were used in prehistory.
