If mean primitive Hominids, then no.  Humans don't have a mating season.   A female human can have s*x whenever and can be impregnanted whenever, unless she is already pregnat.  The vast majority of animals are seasonal breeders.

Mating seasons are based on fertility.  Animals breed when females are receptive and can reproduce.  Humans are fertile on a monthly cycle so no matter how primitive the people, if they are human they would not have mating seasons since a female could potentially be receptive at any time of the year.
