The poor woman is dead and many people still revere her so I don't think it matters a toss whether she or anybody for that matter has paper qualifications, because out here in the real world you need a lot more. And do not forget she used the media sometimes in desperation, no G.C.E.s need to attract our gutter press. What I believe is she had charisma which nobody can explain. Even the ugliest bloke I know has charisma because he is so happy in his own skin.
