Did some of the Olympic athletes in female competition look like men to you?

In women's competitions, some of the Olympic athletes looked very masculine to me (i.e. a few in running and swimming). I understand that women can be muscular but also understand that there was a rule set in place a few years ago that allows transgendered athletes to compete in their new gender category in the Olympics. Are they actually starting to do that now, or is that still just only a rule? Just curious....

  1. there was a chinese weightlifter who would look identical to a man had she cut her hair. no joke

  2. i didnt know about that transgender rule, it seems that it would give the transgender an unfair advantage

  3. did you see that one large american softball player. not only did she look like a big chubby dude but she sounded like one. yikes

  4. i'd say that the swimmers male and female body types look pretty much the same...just a bit more muscular.  but the sprinters look far more muscular.  i suppose it helps.  whatever works to get that extra edge and milliseconds off the previous run eh?

the only one that looked like a real man was in one of the sprints and that was due to the religious suit she had on.  at first i thought it was one of the camera men chasing the sprinters!! LOL

  5. I never heard of that. I'd say it's steroids before I'd say it was a s*x change.

  6. some of the women look freakishly like men

  7. Yes, especially in track.

  8. You should have seen some of the women from the Eastern Bloc countries in the 60s and 70s. Definitely not something to run into in a dark alley.

Those one you are talking about are petite and dainty compared to what some of them were.
