  1. no i dont think so.. i think the australians joined the war in europe.


  2. I have no personal knowledge, but an Australian friend of my father said that not only were there sirens, but there was an actual Japanese air-raid on a town (whose name now escapes me) at the tip of northern Australia.

    It might be worth looking this up.

  3. Darwin was bombed several times during WW2 by Japanese aircraft- so if you're looking for air raid sirens that would be the town to search
