Did that last phantom caution ruin Kyle Busch's chances??

The one with about 35 to go?? They waved a caution for debris and said ti was because of Gordons car, but they didn't show the debris...only the side of Gordons car. Busch had a 7 sec lead at that ponit and if it would have stayed green he would have pitted on the green flag and easily won. Does anyone else think so??

  1. that was not the last caution of the the race. i was wantin kyle to win but edwards had a strong car all day a he deserved to win not like the last winner here who blatenly broke the rules yet was not penalized for his cheating.

  2. whats done is done, certain things ruin chances for my fav driver jeff gordon but you got to suck it up and hope they can win the next race

  3. WHO cares KB is in First!!!

  4. I am a Jr fan but Edwards just had a better car. Sorry but as good as Kyle is, he can't win them all. And yes. Kyle is much better than Jr. There are many phantom calls; some go your way and some don't.

  5. He has been given way too much leeway.  It's about time that punk has to do it like everyone else and earn it.

  6. Who cares Kyle Busch sucks anyway, and when Gordon hit the wall there had to be debris did you see the side of his car things were falling off

  7. There was two more cautions after that. Two times that Edward's six second lead was taken away and Kyle had a chance to catch him on a restart. There are people who might think that NASCAR was intentionally giving Busch a chance to get by Edward's. I did.

  8. They do that a lot.  "debris" on the track etc...and then never show that debris. Many drivers had that happen to them once they were in the lead.  I've seen it time and time again.

Kyle is an awesome driver and who knows with that 7 sec lead..but Carl Edwards was just as good and in the end there Kyle didn't really have anything for Carl.  I think eventually Carl would have caught up to Kyle anyway.

Another thing about debris.  When the trucks go out to clean the debris off the track after a crash...don't they ever see that one piece big enough to call a caution laying there???  Do they always just manage to leave a piece of whatever out there so NASCAR can order a caution whenever they want according who is in the lead or who they want to catch up or who they want to get the lucky dog???

No conspiracies here I am just curious.

P.S.  DW said this last year.  Not his exact words but did mention why they never show the debris.

  9. ^ So he didn't earn that 7 second lead?  Sounds like you're just whining because your driver can't get the job done.

NASCAR needs to quit with the phantom cautions.  They are essentially penalizing drivers and teams for driving well and having good equipment.  Kyle isn't the only one to have it happen to.  Any car that takes off to a huge lead will eventually get pinched.

  10. If Gordon's car was dropping debris, then he should be blacked flagged.

When these cars are smashed and don't look like a race car anymore, get 'em off the track and let the others race.Going out at half speed to make laps is ludicrous.
