Did the 2004 model Orange Crush ever say serious performance in gold on it? Were they made in China or Taiwan?

I was wondering if there were copies of these bats made. Both of the Crushes I have bought in the past were made in Taiwan not China. They never said "serious perfromance" on the handle either. I bought the bat thinking it was the model made a few years ago that is still ASA legal. I am beginning to wonder now.
