  1. no,

I barely remember even seeing it on TV

  2. No, other than feeling awful for the people involved, it did'nt change my life in any way.

  3. Yes of course! And if it didn't then you need to go to NYC and visit the site. We have assumed that in the U.S. we are "safe" but 9/11 reminds us that there are those in the world who hate and want to destroy us. It could have just as easily been your own town, or school or neighborhood. People who went to work and didn't come home that day had families. Think of what that might have been like if it had happened to your family!! We need to do whatever it takes to keep us safe.

  4. yes, just because im muslim everyone pretty much thinks all muslims are crazy people who wanna kill innocent people. not of all us are terrorists!

  5. Hello,  YES!!...my heart and eyes are still crying for the over 3000 lost then and many more thousands who fought and are lost and as well, still fighting...ALTHOUGH I AGREE With the reasons for the war...I still cry for them...and PRAY, NOT ONLY FOR THEIR RETURN... BUT THE COMFORT OF FAMILIES HERE.....WAITING for THEM TO RETURN!!!   PLEASE, OH FATHER, KEEP THEM SAFE FROM HARM, IN JESUS NAME I PRAY, AMEN

      GOD BLESS!!!!   Mary

  6. Yes it did, it brought home something I did not expect to experience in the US on a scale like that. I don't think I will ever forget where I was that day, I will never forget how horrible I felt for the people that were killed and their families. The amount of innocent people that were killed that day, sitting in their offices doing their jobs, working to provide for their families, is tragic. The firefighters and police who rushed to help, only to be killed in the building collapse, brings me to tears still. I was at work when the attacks happened, all the phone lines were jammed, and the internet was slow to report on what was happening because of all the traffic online that day. My mother called me from home and said that hundreds of firefighters rushed into those buildings and that one of the buildings had come down, that they were reporting that hundreds were most likely dead. It felt like someone punched me in the chest. That day defined the definition of a hero for me. A guy who makes $60k - $70K a year that runs into a burning monster of a building to help people he does not know, even though he is probably beyond terrified himself, is a hero in my opinion.

After the attacks a sense of anger took over me that I did not know existed. It still lingers today. It's the first time in my life I experienced what I now know to be real rage.

Then came the amazement at how good people can be, the volunteer response after 9/11, the charity people offered up, made me happy to be an American, it's the first time in my life I can say I felt truly patriotic. The effects of that day will linger forever for me.

  7. of course 911 had an effect on me, if you are an american that wasn't affected by it, then you have no heart.  since 911 I left construction jobs and went into nursing, because i am able to help people with this career, and after 911 thats what I felt I needed to do so that I could be satisfied with my life

  8. Changed me completely.  I lived in a bubble, thought the world was perfect, didn't know terrorism can hit home.  It snapped me into reality and really made me the person I am today.  I was in high school, in Queens.. Now I am 21, and care about the world and what is going on.

  9. It didn't change my life in any way but i often cry when i hear the song "Where were you"(when the world stopped turning, by Alan Jackson). Its a fantastic song. I recommend downloading it.

It is the saddest song i have ever heard regarding September 11 and it certainly does make you stop and think about those that lost their lives and those COURAGEOUS people in their line of duty that were trying to help and lost their lives also. The families that suffered after hearing of the loss of their loved ones.

The b******s that could do such an evil act of crime just makes you sick. It'll be something that everybody will never forget. Its just terribly sad.
