  1. Did they cheat?  Absolutely Not.  They went out there and they performed  well and won the gold medal.  However, if the USA didn't make mistakes as a team, don't pin the loss on poor Alicia Sacramone because remember Nastia and Shawn Johnson stepped out of bounds during the floor exercises, we wouldn't be asking the question that everyone is asking now: "How old are the Chinese gymnasts?"

  2. well they didnt actually cheat.  they were just too young to compete.  i think the Chinese women were better than the US team, but they were no supposed to be competing.  there wouldnt be any problems right now if China lost or if there wasnt an age limit.

i think they should just remove the age limit so there wont be any controversy. people just find a way to get by so the age limit has no purpose anyway.

  3. No proof of it.  Bottom line is the US gymnastic team didn't do a very good job.

  4. Team Usa's answer is right, those chinese girls might not be 16 but i do agree that they are good gymnastics, but they are not 16

  5. yes, they used their supernatural power to make alicia fall from the beam, and then again, on the floor. and since you are not allowed to use supernatural powers during olympic games, it is considered cheating.

  6. As an American, I believe that the World was cheated by China because of the fact they broke the rules with athletes younger than the age limit put forth by the IOC.  We're all getting screwed by the IOC because it seems they may have been "strongarmed" by the politburo, secret police or the "chairman" himself before the games into believing that China's athletes are of age and that the judges should favor China, otherwise face sanctions, possible "reprogramming", discipline, or expulsion from the games.

Anyone that is blind to those facts and don't know how communist governments operate should start learning about them and how they utilize shady practices to get what they want.

The ugly, prepubescent, yellow snaggletooth Chinese "girls" gymnastic team don't know what's up because the government lied to them about the age limit, but were required to have those crusty, cheesy smiles as prescribed by the communists.  If they did not smile as ordered or tried to act more mature than their age of 10-13, then their pet dogs would be kidnapped and eaten in Bejing's finest restaurants.....  "No Gold Medal, no more Fido....."

Also, to those that did not watch the games or know anything about scoring in gymnastics, the Chinese have dull and uninteresting routines and apparatuses that are just not exciting.  Japan, USA, Germany and Russia are risk takers and should have gotten higher scores because they completed the required elements, but added higher risk moves too.  China also made more mistakes, missteps during landings and had flexed arms or legs when they should have been straighter.  The World's countries made less mistakes but were docked points for them while China kept their scores intact, with mistakes.....  Anyone that watched it, but denies China received favors from the judges are blind and cannot see clearly.....

  7. Until proven otherwise, no.

  8. If the Chinese lied about the true age of those girls participating, then YES, they cheated. Truth is, two years of age is a huge thing in gymnastics. Younger girls are smaller in size and lighter in weight... yes, even the smaller than average Chinese. Rules are rules and in my opinion their Gold medal has totally lost it's luster.

  9. You have no concrete proof for evidence. I want "print screen" evidence from the New York Times; UK Telegraph; and the Associated Press.

They don't...they are lying to them selves.

  10. No, but the U.S. wins a gold medal in whining and sour grapes!

  11. well lets just say if you think those girls are 16 you are very misled.
